In these past few chapters some of Briskins hired people went to this new earth place. Some scientists and smart people. Along with some higher ranking people. They even hired this sort of bounty hunter that is going to be a guide of some sort. First of all they released a satellite to survey the planet. Then everyone landed. At first they just did satellite searches, and came up with some information about the planet. Somethings they came up with are that its very similar to their own planet. The land masses are very much the same shape and everything. The difference though is that the lights are not the same. The scientists are trying to figure out what time frame this planet could be in. Because it is so much like their earth. When its dark you can see the lights of the masses of people, but the light masses show that most of the high lighted places are not like they should be. In other words the mass of the people that they think are there live in other parts than if it was their earth.
Another great find is that they took a scuddler to survey around where they were. I mean the people scientists, guide, and just some higher friends of Briskin. Well what was following them was a flying wood like boat thing. They didnt know much about it so they just turned around and it landed soon after that. More to come......

As in science, religion and crisis of faith?
In science Briskin is realizing that with this planet inhabited that really he cannot do much but prey something happens. He is between a rock and hard place. Deciding what to do is the hard, because he has told the people he has found a solution to control the population better. With people/things on this planet he has trouble because people that have seen this planet are doubting on what to do. Scientists are even wondering how smart the people are because they shot down their satellite. So they think they are smart, but the internal story lies within them trying to understand the peoples thoughts. TO then decide on what the next fate is going to be.
Character types, similar characters, terms of usage in exhagerating the characters.
